Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and creative individual to oversee our Marketing function and expand its role in the company.  The Marketing Specialist will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and participate in both strategic and tactical initiatives to fulfill the Mission and goals of Princeton Federal Credit Union (PFCU). 

Our ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with a positive mindset and goal driven behaviors.  A true team player, the Marketing Specialist will possess a roll up your sleeves work ethic and a curious mind and will demonstrate strength in both creative and analytical thought. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conceptualize, pitch, and create strategic, optimized, and differentiated campaigns to expand PFCU’s community awareness and promote products and services.
  • Monitor, track, analyze and report data and KPIs for key initiatives. Use data to help inform strategy and goals.
  • Manage Social Media Accounts (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook) including posting with appropriate frequency and voice.
  • Design visual assets for marketing campaigns and social media applications.
  • Manage the PFCU website including content creation and edits, regulatory compliance, and consistency in format.
  • Develop and coordinate member and prospect facing communiques in direct support of PFCU’s Mission, Goals, and Initiatives. These communiques include briefs, emails, digital assets, web and newsletter content and speaking points.
  • Act as liaison and primary PFCU contact with several vendor partners.
  • Prepare and maintain presentation materials and templates for Executive and Company-wide presentations.
  • Coordinate and distribute regular competitive product information and rate surveys.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to helping our Members thrive.
  • Serve as a Brand Ambassador for the Credit Union.
  • Support Chief Operating Officer in other ad-hoc projects.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 2-5 years of work experience.
  • Skilled in articulate communication and applying analytical thinking and creative design to campaign development.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a must.
  • Demonstrated experience with social media platforms, content, and campaign creation.
  • Strong technological skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft O365 applications including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills; blog writing experience a strong plus.
  • Strong work-ethic, well-organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Experience in financial services, credit unions or banking a strong plus.
  • Experience with WordPress, Hootsuite a plus.
  • Experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) a plus.
  • Comfortability with Jaspersoft a bonus but not required.
  • Exceptional relational and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in Princeton and/or in a remote work setting.
  • Rare to occasional work outside of regular hours.
