COVID-19 precautions

The safety and security of our members and team are our primary concern every day, and now, amid the spread of COVID-19.  As such, we want to share information with you regarding what we are doing to maintain safe and effective operations.

Steps we're taking

  • Our team is monitoring information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and federal, state and local agencies to help ensure the actions we're taking are in line with the latest CDC recommendations and guidance. We are communicating regularly with our employees to keep them informed and to ensure their safety and that of our members.
  • We have added hand sanitizer in our branches for use by both members and employees, and we are conducting enhanced cleaning and disinfecting in our branches and corporate offices.
  • We encourage members concerned about face-to-face-transactions to utilize our available channels through which to transact credit union business.  They include:
    • Our Drive-Thru banking service at 774 Alexander Road
    • Our ATMs located at 774 Alexander Road (accepts deposits), The Frist Student Center and the Princeton Plasma Physics Lab
    • On-Line Banking at princetonfcu.org
    • Mobile Banking through our Princeton FCU app available via the App Store and Google Play      Apple App Store Google Play Store
    • Shared Branching with any of our Credit Union Service Centers
  • We remain committed to helping our members navigate stressful and uncertain times, which may include issues related to the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19).  If in need of assistance, we encourage members to call us at 800-456-5038 to speak with a member of our team to discuss options available for their lending and deposit needs.

Steps you can take

  • Stay up to date. For more information on COVID-19, visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website.
  • Follow these everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases, as outlined by the CDC:
    • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
    • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
    • Avoid close contact with people who are sick and praqctice social distancing.
    • Stay home when you are not feeling well.
    • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze, then throw the tissue in the trash and wash your hands.‚Äč
  • Our priority remains keeping Princeton Federal members and employees safe and well-informed while doing what we can to help minimize potential spread of the coronavirus. We will continue working hard to provide the level of service you have come to expect from PFCU while maintaining communication regarding the facts related to COVID-19. 

International Travel Plans?

Attention International Travelers regarding your Princeton Federal Credit Union Credit or Debit Cards...
 
If you plan to travel out of the country and use your Princeton Credit Union VISA Credit Card please notify the Loan Department of your date of travel and destination by dialing 609.945.6200 ext. 207, 246, 224 or 221. If you plan to use your VISA Debit Card please notify the Electronic Services Department by dialing 609.945.6200 ext. 230, 232 or 231.
 
Because of our fraud security protection program, if any suspicious transactions occur outside your normal spending pattern, there may be a restriction placed on your card. We will remove the restriction, based on the information you provide us before your trip, so you can continue to use your card.
 
ATTENTION VISA DEBIT CARD HOLDERS!
 
Fraud transactions are occurring out of the following countries: Brazil, Dominican Republic, Netherlands, Spain, France, South Korea and the United Kingdom (UK). Due to this fraudulent activity there is a block on your Princeton Federal Credit Union VISA Debit Card for any purchases and internet transactions relating to any of the countries listed above. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
