Direct Deposit

Managing money is easier when your net paycheck, Social Security, or pension check is automatically deposited into your Checking Account or Share Savings Account.

Automated Clearing House (ACH)

The credit union is a member of the Automated Clearing House (ACH) and can accept direct credits or debits for member accounts from any participating corporation. The routing number to use for this purpose is 231278229.

Direct Deposit or Direct Payments are available through your account with PUFCU. You can arrange for deposit to your Credit Union account through payroll deduction directly with your employer's payroll department. The payroll office will require the following information:

Name and Address of Credit Union:	104 Carnegie Center, Suite 103 Princeton NJ 08540
Credit Union Routing/ABA Number:	231278229
Your Credit Union Account Number:	9 digit account number then 2 digit suffix (example: 12345678900)
(example: your account #, then 00 for savings; your account #, then 90 for checking)

** The information above should be used when arranging any type of transaction which will directly affect your Credit Union account on a continuing basis. PUFCU can not be responsible for initiating or terminating any direct electronic transactions.

With Direct Deposit:

• Your money is available immediately. No driving to the credit union office to make your deposit. While you are eating lunch, playing golf, or having fun with your children, your money is deposited in your account and is ready and waiting to pay bills, withdraw, or wait for your next need.
• Your money is safe. You don't have to carry your check or large sums of cash around with you. It is deposited and ready for you.
• You comply with government regulations. All federal payments are now issued by electronic funds transfer (EFT), also known as Direct Deposit. If you will be receiving veteran's benefits, Social Security, military pensions or salaries, or any other government payment, you'll need Direct Deposit. Check with the agency that issues your check to see what requirements you need to meet (there are some special circumstances that do not require Direct Deposit).
