Credit Union MembershipHow can you become a member of Princeton University Federal Credit Union? Members of the faculty and staff, graduate students and current students of Princeton University, as well as employees of the following institutions may join the Princeton University Federal Credit Union. The credit union members' immediate family and those sharing the same household may also join. Immediate family is defined as spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent, or grandchild. This includes stepparents, stepchildren, stepsiblings, and adoptive realtionships. Household is defined as persons living in the same residence maintaining a single economic unit. How to JoinYou become a member by opening a share/savings account and depositing a minimum of $5. There is no fee to join, and there are no dues. Once you become a member, you remain a member as long as you maintain a minimum share balance of $5, even if you are no longer employed by a member organization. How to ApplyTo join PUFCU, you must complete a membership application, which is available at the credit union office at 104 Carnegie Center, Suite 103, Princeton, NJ 08540 or at the Princeton University Campus Location 100 Level Frist Campus Center. If you wish to have an application mailed to you, contact us at 609-945-6200, or E-mail us at memberservice@pufcu.org, and we will mail you an application today. You may also refer a member with our Online Membership Application request form. You must present your completed and signed Membership Application along with the following forms of identification.
